Jessica Plumb, founder of Plumb Productions, draws on her lifelong loves of writing and photography to produce videos that combine clear narrative line with strong visual impact. She brings vision and dynamic leadership to producing multi-media stories, and teaching this art.

Jessica’s style of storytelling is documentary. Working with clients, she helps to identify a clear message and bring their story to life. Recent clients include PT Artscape, the Jefferson Land Trust and Great Meetings, Inc. (Click here to watch video samples)

With years of experience creating innovative programs and workshops for young people, Jessica has worked with youth and educators in a wide range of settings from Boston to Beijing. She developed weeklong workshops in digital media, visual art, dance, theater and creative writing as Director of Education Programs at Centrum, and developed a multi-disciplinary arts program for the American School of Guadalajara. She worked with Primary Source in Boston to help educators introduce multi-cultural and global content in history and social studies curriculum. Currently she offers workshops in documentary film production.

Jessica holds a B.A. from Yale University in East Asian studies. She is a published writer, photographer and former editor of the Yale-China Review. She has pursued continuing education in documentary film, digital storytelling and photography at the New School University of New York, Anderson Ranch, 911 Media in Seattle and the Maine Photographic workshops. Currently she is completing an interdisciplinary MFA from Goddard College.
